LVLD respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the LVLD app.
LVLD is a simple finance budgeting app designed to help you track spending, organise expenses, create budgets,
and better understand your money habits.
LVLD is operated from Australia and is available to users globally. We handle personal information in accordance
with applicable privacy laws.
Information We Collect
LVLD is built to collect only the information needed to provide its budgeting and finance tracking features.
Budget and Expense Information
- Information you choose to enter, such as expenses, income, budgets, categories, notes, and savings goals.
- Transaction details you manually add, including amounts, dates, merchants, descriptions, and categories.
- This information is stored on your device so you can view your history, track progress, and manage your budget over time.
- Your budgets and transactions are not uploaded to LVLD servers.
Storage and Backup
- Your budgets, transactions, and settings are stored on your device.
- They are not uploaded to our servers.
- If you back up your iPhone using iCloud or a computer backup, your LVLD data may be included in that backup.
- iPhone backups are controlled by Apple’s backup settings.
App Identifiers
- The app may use basic identifiers needed to support app functionality, subscriptions, and restoring access.
- We do not use these identifiers to track you across other apps or websites.
Subscription and Payment Information
- If LVLD offers paid features or subscriptions, payments are handled by Apple through the App Store.
- We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- We may receive basic subscription status and purchase information from Apple through RevenueCat so we can unlock paid features and restore purchases.
Usage and Diagnostics Data
- LVLD may collect limited technical diagnostics to improve app stability and performance.
- Crash reports may be processed through Sentry.
- These crash reports are technical diagnostics and are not linked to your identity.
- LVLD may record anonymous app-setup progress in our own Supabase database, such as which onboarding step was reached.
- This anonymous app-setup progress does not include your answers, amounts, budgets, transactions, or identity.
- We do not use this information to build an advertising profile of you.
Information We Do Not Collect
LVLD does not collect:
- Advertising identifiers for ad targeting
- Contacts from your device
- Location data
- Bank login details
- Payment card numbers
- Data for tracking you across other apps or websites
How We Use Information
Information handled by LVLD is used only to:
- Provide budgeting, expense tracking, savings, and finance organisation features
- Save your budgets, transactions, categories, notes, and settings on your device
- Show charts, summaries, trends, and spending insights
- Manage your subscription access
- Restore purchases
- Improve app stability, performance, and usability
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data Storage and Retention
- Your budgets, transactions, categories, notes, and settings are retained on your device so LVLD can function and your history remains available to you.
- You can delete budget and transaction information from within LVLD where supported.
- LVLD does not create a separate LVLD account.
- If you want to remove LVLD data from your device, you can delete data from within the app where supported or remove the app from your device.
- If your iPhone is backed up using iCloud or a computer backup, LVLD data may be included in that backup according to Apple’s backup settings.
- Usage and diagnostic data may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form to help us improve the app.
Service Providers
We use a small number of services to operate the app. These services receive only the limited information needed
to perform their function.
RevenueCat
- RevenueCat is used to process and manage subscription purchases.
- RevenueCat receives purchase information from Apple.
- RevenueCat does not receive your budgets, transactions, financial entries, or payment card details.
Sentry
- Sentry is used to receive crash reports and technical diagnostics.
- Crash reports help us identify and fix app issues.
- Sentry does not receive your budgets, transactions, financial entries, or identity.
Supabase
- Our own Supabase database is used to record anonymous app-setup progress.
- This may include which onboarding step was reached.
- It does not include your onboarding answers, amounts, budgets, transactions, or identity.
None of these services are used for advertising or cross-app tracking, and none receive your budgets or transactions.
Apple Services
- StoreKit is used for In-App Purchases and subscriptions where paid features are offered.
- iCloud or computer backups may include LVLD data if you back up your iPhone, depending on your Apple backup settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.
LVLD stores your budgets, transactions, and settings on your device.
No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to keep your device secure, keep your Apple ID protected,
and use strong authentication where available.
Your Privacy Choices
You can:
- View, edit, or delete budget and transaction information within LVLD where supported
- Manage iPhone backup settings through your Apple ID, iCloud, or computer backup settings
- Manage app permissions through iOS Settings
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings

Children’s Privacy
LVLD is not directed to or intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us so we can address the issue.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in LVLD, our practices, or legal requirements.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
