Heelr Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 June 2026

Heelr respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Heelr iOS app, including the journal, recovery and mobility tracking features, and the gait scan.

Heelr is designed for general consumers who want to log, track, and review their dog’s daily activity, recovery, and movement over time.

Heelr is operated by [Legal entity name] ([ABN]). We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Although Heelr is about your dog, the videos you record and the details tied to your account can identify you, so we treat them as your personal information.

Heelr is built to collect only what is needed to provide its features. Because Heelr is a journal, some of the information you enter is saved so that it is available to you across sessions.

How We Use Information

Information handled by the app is used only to:

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or any third parties, and we do not share your information with advertisers. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or tracking across apps or websites.

Improving Heelr (Optional)

Heelr’s gait analysis becomes more accurate the more movement it can learn from across different breeds, ages, sizes, and recovery stages. We only use your gait scan videos for this if you choose to turn it on.

Heelr works fully without turning this on — declining does not limit any feature.
